Some words are in English

Hello Jérémy-Günther-Heinz Jähnick - On this page Roompot-Oranje Peloton you can see that some of the words from one of the moduls have not been translatet yet into Faroese, they are in English. Could you please translate them? Country = Land. Previous team = Undanfarna lið. Thanks. --EileenSanda (kjak) 3. jan 2017 kl. 07:18 (UTC)Reply

Here you can see, that "Etape" has not been translatet into Faroese, it should be "Teinur".

Can you help with translations to Faroese?

rætta

Hello Jérémy! Can you help with translations in the cycling template/module? See example below. The Faroese words are: Date = Dagur, Race = Kapping, Country = Land, Class = Flokkur, Winner = Vinnari. And also the headline Victories = Sigrar. Best regards --EileenSanda (kjak) 24. sep 2020 kl. 14:53 (UTC)Reply

Hi Brúkari:EileenSanda. You should go on d:Module:Cycling race on Wikidata and verify more globally if new translations are needed. The user Psemdel create a lot of new functions, and I think some of them will interest you. When it is done, you can copy the code and paste it on FO Wiki. If you discover a problem, you can discuss it at the page of the supermodule on Wikidata, it arrives sometimes. I often discover new things, and the automation is very different from 2015, when all starts (I work on other subjects, but I sometimes have a look).
On another subject, Amadalvarez, from CA Wiki, is currently developping super infoboxes able to work in different languages. They are 100 % Wikidata infoboxes, see that for exemple. It is different from Cycling race (the code is on different pages and it is not Lua), but if you get an adaptation of these different infoboxes you will have enormous gains to update articles. Hi Jérémy, thanks for quick reply. I have been on that page d:Module:Cycling race on Wikidata, but I can't figure out what is missing, or where I can find the translations which we can see in that infobox, and which is in English now in stead of Faroese. Ok, so I should ask user Psemdel in stead? Do you know if the Faroese Wikipedia is missing some module or template for making this work? --EileenSanda (kjak) 28. sep 2020 kl. 07:41 (UTC)Reply
Ah yes Brúkari:EileenSanda, I see that now. Psemdel put the translations on d:Module:Cycling race/l10n. So I think you can add translations and ask him advices. The algorithm always evolves, and I often discover something as I say before. d:Module:Cycling race/data also exists. Jérémy-Günther-Heinz Jähnick (kjak) 28. sep 2020 kl. 08:52 (UTC)Reply
Ah, ok, yes I can see that there is no ["fo"] in that module. I will contact Psemdel. --EileenSanda (kjak) 28. sep 2020 kl. 09:51 (UTC)Reply
