Kjak:Aldarinnar 100 bøkur sambært Le Monde
Author's note
rætta<enskt> Hi. I have some comments about how I wrote this page.
(I also wrote the Danish page at dawiki.)
1) If I use the Faroese flag , then that title is a title I found here in fowiki.
Therefore, if it reads:
Nils Holgerssons underbara resa genom Sverige <svenskt>
then I found that information here.
So, if you change the title to Nils Holgarsson og sjáldsama ferð hansara gjøgnum Svøríki (a good thing to do), then you also need to change the article where I found the title in <svenskt>: Selma Lagerlöf.
2) If I have something like this:
''[[:da:War of the Worlds|Klodernes kamp]]''
then that means that Klodernes kamp is the Danish title, but dawiki's article uses the English name. So I would keep Klodernes kamp there on the link.
3) I based this fowiki page on my Danish dawiki page. In Danish, I was forced to use Norwegian titles <norskt> when there was no Danish title in dawiki.
But that is temporary. It is my hope that the Bokmål title will help the Danes find the correct Danish title.
So I never intended to have this page using  links to nowiki in Bokmål.
I would like to see the Danes make the corrections, and then Faroese can connect to Danish consistently.
Anyway, that was my intention.
So, if you personally know the Danish title of a book, then I suggest that you correct both the dawiki page there and the fowiki page here.
But it is your page now. In Canada, Varlaam (talk) 29. aug 2013 kl. 05:43 (UTC)
- For example, I found the Danish title for the Simenon book: Maigret og togmordet.
- I updated the dawiki page, and I have now updated the fowiki page as well.

- Hi Varlaam. I understand what your intention is, but I don't see the point. It is not good for the Faroese reader who wishes to read more about one of these titles in Danish, and then he or she will come to a page on the Danish Wikipedia which does not excist. Just because there is no article about these books on the Faroese Wikipedia, it does not mean that the book is not translated into Faroese, I don't know if they have been translated or not, some of them might be, I don't know where to look up that information. I would prefer (if there should be a link to one of the other nordic Wikipedia) that it should rather be to the Norwegian or Swedish article which excists, rather than having a link to the Danish Wikipedia which does not excist, that gives no meaning, not for me at least :). Most Faroese people can read Norwegian and Swedish, not as well as Danish, but I think must Faroese readers understand most of the Norwegian and Swedish text. The Norwegian bokmål is very similar to the Danish language, so I don't mind if the wikilink goes to the Norwegian article in stead of the non-exciststin Danish article page. But thanks for your efforts. EileenSanda (talk) 29. aug 2013 kl. 07:19 (UTC)
