This template expands a name to link to the appropriate Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) station article, without displaying " (MBTA station)".

The template can be abbreviated as {{bts}} for Boston “T” station.

For example:

{{bts|Yawkey}} expands to [[Yawkey (MBTA station)|Yawkey]].

Discretion should be used on whether to name the place itself or the station that serves it. In railway articles it is generally preferred to use the station unless specifically talking about the place, for example that Fyrimynd:Bts serves Boston College.

Most MBTA subway and commuter rail station articles follow the link form of terminating with " (MBTA station)".
