English: Title: The former governors' mansion, known locally as the Historic Governors' Mansion, in Wyoming's capital, Cheyenne

Physical description: 1 photograph : digital, tiff file, color.

Notes: Architect Charles Murdock designed the Georgian-style buiding, which served from 1905 to 1976. Rooms have been decorated to represent the 1905, 1937, 1955 and 1960s eras. State executive mansions were commonplace long before Wyoming got around to building one, but this one had a "first": When Nellie Tayloe Ross moved in in 1925, it became the first to become home to a woman governor.; Credit line: Gates Frontiers Fund Wyoming Collection within the Carol M.
